Irritating McGoogles

I posted this in my deviantART journal a few days ago, but I think I'll post it here as well, because it was a lot of fun to do. =D

Stolen from RohanElf

RULES:
1. It has to be a favourite character.
2. Tag three more people after.
3. Has to be ten irritating facts.
4. Listing the rules upon commenting the dare is a must.
5. Lastly, list the name of the person who Dared you.

10 ways to irritate the crap out of Minerva McGonagall

1. Refer to her only as McGoogles, Minnie, or Miss Tabby.
2. Leave love notes on her desk signed with Crookshank's paw print.
3. Discreetly slip a plant of catnip into her office, then ask to see her privately and inform her that you think she may have an addiction. Hand her a card for AA: Animagus Anonymous.
4. Steal all of her hairpins. Replace them with cocktail umbrellas.
5. Hum "Green-Eyed Lady" ALL THE TIME.
6. Start rumors that she has a crush on Trelawney.
7. Replace all of her liquor supply with fruity drinks, such as watermelon schnapps.
8. Charm her broach/jewelry to jingle when she walks. Don't give her the counterspell until she does the hand jive while wearing a cat in the hat hat.
9. Follow her around the castle. Make woofing noises whenever you catch her with her back turned.
10. Wish her a VERY MERRY UNBIRTHDAY 364 days of the year.

friday fill-in (kinda forgot about these, but they're so fun!)

1. Tonight I saw Chocolat.
2. The music from it makes me wanna dance!
3. Splitting a few appetizers between friends ...is a sentence I would never say.
4. Anybody fun, artistic and adventurous is someone I'd like to get to know better.
5. The smell of rain and fruit tree blossoms reminds me so much of springtime!
6. It was rainy and windy out today, but on the walk home from painting the sun came out and that made it all better.
7. And as for the weekend, tonight I'm looking forward to watching Conan and reading, tomorrow my plans include baking with lavender and Sunday, I want to go to sunday folkdance, but I might not be able to because I have a tap performance at OSU!

If you've never taken any of the VisualDNA quizes, you should. I just took the Love quiz, and I'm a "Wistful Soul". You can take the quiz here: http://youniverse.com/love

18!!!

BIRTHDAY WEEK! (also Spring Break)

DAY ONE: My actual birthday.
After finding out that the tattoo artist wouldn't be coming in that day after all, I grabbed a slice of pizza at american dream, and was joined by Jaylynn, Ana, Neebin and Patrick. We wandered downtown, and decided to head to the courthouse so I could get registered.

Here's a fuzzy camera-phone picture of me filling out the form.

We toured around the courthouse for a while. This was out of an open window on the highest floor we were able to get to.

Then after meeting up with Sophie and Bekka, we decided to do my plan B - Hand out helium-filled balloons to little kids. So we went to Special Occasions and got 11 balloons blown up. Then we took them downtown(which was tricky, with every seat in the car filled up already), and started our search for cute children, hehe. It was incredibly fun, the kids were all really excited to get a balloon. =D

After all the balloons were gone, Sophie, Ana, Bekka and I went to Woodstock's to join my family for my birthday dinner. We played with the toy claw machine, but nobody got anything.

DAY TWO: TATTOO!

All of my awesome presents from the day of my birthday:

DAY THREE and FOUR: ....nothing special.

DAY FIVE through SEVEN: Coast Trip with Ana and Charlotte.

It hailed like crazy AND snowed on the way over. Then it rained and hailed on and off for the first two days, but on Sunday it was sunny, and we spent a lot of time on the beach. =D

SPRING

Look! My first decent new photo since JANUARY! I've been rather lazy with my photography lately. But I'm so happy it's SPRING NOW!!

My birthday is in 3 days!! And I have a SURPRISEEEE, and it's so very exciting. I shall post about it very soon. YIPPI!!

Hooray! Jason Castro is in the top 10 on American Idol! He'll be going on tour! Which, as always, I probably won't go see... I seem to always back out of that sort of thing.

I've been making bookmarks too. I will put them for sale on my Etsy soon. There's only one thing there right now, which is sad. Somebody bought the Snitch earrings though, which is very cool! I should make some more.

Happy Birthday Moony!

It was Moony's birthday today! Well, yesterday... it's almost 2am now.

I finished this painting today for it:

Sophie, Ana, Bekka, Sam and I had a little party for Remus.
We experimented with a butterbeer recipe, and ended up putting in a crap load of stuff. It turned out really good though, but really super sweet.

I made a cake, because we had to have chocolate!!

Twas much fun. And I got a new cake recipe out of it too. Chocolate orange bundt cake (vegan). Except that we don't have a bundt cake pan.

Jason Castro

I've been terrible with the updates lately... I added a whole bunch of new stuff to my sketch blog last week though, and I'll try to upload a collection of sketches today.

I've been watching American Idol this year. I used to hate it, and haven't actually watched a whole season since... season 3? That was four years ago, when Fantasia won. I think I liked George Huff and La Toya London that year. I've payed attention every once and a while. I really liked Bo Bice from season 4.

But THIS year, I've been watching, because there's a lot of variety it seems. Except that Danny and Luke just got voted off, and they were a main source of entertainment. I thought Danny would last longer, he's so adorably androgynous.
And since when do I spend so much time talking about dudes? I dunno, it just seems like the girls are all boring this year, except for Amanda and possibly Carly.

Anywho.... I love Jason Castro. He hasn't really got a chance of winning (isn't it obvious that David Archuleta should win?), but he's different, and totally shy and cute. And I LOVED his version of "Daydream", I bought it on iTunes the next day.

His best performances, in my opinion:

I also thought David Cook did really well this week with "Hello"

That's it for now, toodles!

tagged

I got tagged about 2 weeks ago by Martin (http://dibujosybocetos.blogspot.com)
and I'm just now getting around to doing it. Akk, I'm terrible.

I'm supposed to write 5 facts about myself, so here goes...

1. I've got my first grey hair. But apparently, it's more common to get your first grey hair in your teens than I thought. How very odd.

2. My cell phone ring is Dana Fuchs from Across The Universe singing "Why Don't We Do It In The Road", squee!!

3. I just made my first sell on Etsy! I don't have shipping material yet though, so I guess I'll do that after Mom and Sophie get back with the car...

4. Anytime I get sick, my ears plug up. And I got sick FOURTEEN DAYS AGO, and my ears are STILL PLUGGED! Aggravating.

5. I think I might apply at the new Michaels craft store, sound like a good idea? Whoohoo, a cashier job! lol. I'd rather do stocking and stuff, but they're not listing that, so I'm gonna guess that's another part of the cashier job? I dunno...

Well now, wasn't that exciting? ;)
